Trusting Him in the Silence
When You Don’t Feel It, God Is Still Moving
There are times in your journey with God when everything feels alive—when His presence is felt, His Word leaps off the page, and your heart is moved with revelation knowledge. And then there are times when you feel dry and distant.
Do you ever pray and feel nothing? Hear nothing? Wonder if God is even there?
I’ve lived many of those days. Times when I prayed but wasn’t moved. When I sang, but didn’t feel it. And yet, something in me kept going. You see, I came to a crossroads where I had to choose—God or the world. By His grace, I decided to pursue Him more fully. I cried out for a real, felt understanding of God. He answered, and it changed everything. He is still changing me.
Real transformation is an adventure. I’ve learned that even when I don’t feel Him, He’s still working—and He’s still worthy. By His grace, I’ll keep choosing Him, even when doubt creeps in, because there’s power in faith. And it’s in the commitment, especially in the silence, that faith becomes real.
Stay Committed
The most important thing is this: stay committed. Day after day, regardless of what you’re experiencing, intentionally direct your heart toward God. His presence is always available to you, whether you feel it or not.
So much of what God is doing takes place in secret—unseen by human eyes.
You can trust that transformation is taking place. As you renew your mind in the Word and prayer, it’s happening like the seeds of a flower beneath the ground, roots are growing deep into the soil. When properly nourished, they burst forth in due season.
Stay faithful. Keep praying. Keep praising. Keep reading the Word. Stay connected to Jesus—even if it feels dry. Spiritual growth is not measured by how you feel—but by how much you can surrender and trust God.
You don’t have to pretend you have it all together—because you don’t. And the good news? He already knows. So come as you are. Simply offer Jesus the real you.
A Final Encouragement
The silence isn’t a punishment. It’s an invitation. An invitation to believe that He is who He says He is—even when you are not experiencing it in the physical realm. Let your worship rise not because you feel Him, but because you trust Him. Keep believing.
Because my friend, He’s not done.
Joyfully Your’s,
Krissy
